Position Title: Communications Manager
Branch: Western Australian Branch
Period of time: Preferably 2 years minimum, ongoing thereafter
Commitment: 30 - 60 mins per week
We're looking for an energised and creative Communications Manager to join our team and help us reach our goals. As our Communications Manager, you'll be developing and rolling out communications plans to connect with and engage our WA branch members. You'll also handle creating and sharing different materials like weekly social media posts, quarterly event announcements, and the occasional newsletters and website content.
Here's what you'll do:
- Create and run communication plans and campaigns that boost our brand
- Manage all our communication channels, including social media, website, and email
- Write, edit, and proofread clear, engaging content
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of our communication efforts and report on the results
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, like members, sponsors, event speakers, and partners
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Appreciation for and interest in verbal and written communication
- Ability to come up with and implement new ideas to reach audiences
- Motivated to plan, execute, and evaluate communication initiatives
- Ability to motivate a team and work well with the broader ICF Australasian communications team
- Willingness to learn and use various communication tools and platforms, like Microsoft Office, LinkedIn and Mition
To be eligible for a Branch position a person must:
- be over 18 years of age;
- be a current financial member of ICF;
- have an ICF credential or be in the credentialling process (with the aim of submitting the requirements within six months)
