President-Elect
The role of President is a one-year position but a three-year Board commitment. Presidents serve for a year as President Elect, then President, then Immediate Past President (IPP). In September at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), Tim Crowden will step out of the Board and the role of IPP. Tania Willis will step into the role as IPP. Mariska du Preez will become President, creating a vacancy for President Elect.
I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Tim Crowden for hiscommitment to the role and to the Board over the years and I will offer more formal thanks when he vacates the role at the AGM.
