Changing the way we think about work, wellness (hauora) and balance between not only our people and groups in our organisations but between the environment and our decisions is critical to arrest the mental health and social wellbeing challenges we are seeing with the flow-on effects of Covid, Climate Change and the next set of challenges we will face.

Speaker

Richard Griffiths

Richard has held senior leadership roles across both the public and private sectors and is currently Deputy Chief Executive Ngā Pou o te Taumaru (Corporate, Governance and Workplace) at the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment (MBIE).

Before joining MBIE Richard spent eight years at the Bank of New Zealand and was a member of the Executive Team. He has held senior Human Resource roles at ASB, Fonterra and spent eight years with Air New Zealand in a number of operations roles.

Richard leads through his values and his determined drive to make a difference for our communities. He has a strong delivery ethic and is a genuine, authentic and inclusive leader.
