Getting Unstuck: Helping Your ADHD Clients to Set and Achieve Their Goals

Event Information

The essence of coaching as defined by the ICF, is to partner with our clients “in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential.”

However, we know that when coaching clients with ADHD, even the word “potential” can be triggering as they face so many barriers turning ambition into achievement. Which can make our role as coaches even more challenging!

During this session we will delve into the barriers our ADHD clients experience when approaching goal-setting, explore frameworks that can unlock motivation for those with interest-based nervous systems, and discuss how we as coaches can give our clients the agency to continually redefine what success looks like as they progress.

Presenter

Beth Wallach

Beth is a career and business coach with a background in management in the creative and tech industries. She qualified as an ADHD Coach through ADDCA in October 2022, inspired by her own ADHD diagnosis as well as the prevalence of ADHD amongst her coaching clients.

She works with adults with ADHD who are looking to change or evolve their careers in a way that supports their unique thinking style. She also coaches founders and leaders who have ADHD, or are looking to create businesses with a culture that supports and celebrates neurodiversity.
