MCC – Special Interest Group Series - Session 2

A complimentary 7-part virtual professional development series offering 1.5 CCEUs per session for ICF coaches.

Session #2 Information

I’m delighted to share that Carrie Williams MCC, ACTC will be joining us at our April MCC SIG.

Carrie is the former President of ICF Los Angeles and amongst other things for the Chapter, set up and continues to lead ICF LA’s own MCC Special Interest Group, which is now in its fourth year.

She has been generous with her time and support of me as we’ve been setting up our own MCC SIG for Australasia. I’m delighted she’s able to join us.

As we’re finalising our arrangements for contracting etc, Carrie will be able to share what’s worked/hasn’t and anything in between for their group.

She’s also going to give us a presentation on and access to, a tool that she’s developed, designed to help a coaching client to understand their willingness to engage in the ‘work’ that coaching requires of them and builds on the conversation we started last month in Session #1

The title of Carrie’s presentation is:

From Insight to Action: Using the Spectrum of Willingness™ to Unlock Client Movement

Even master-level coaches can find themselves overworking; bringing powerful questions, sharp insight, and elegant models that still don’t create movement. This session introduces the Spectrum of Willingness™, a no-nonsense diagnostic for identifying where a client actually is, not where they say they are, and adjusting your coaching accordingly. Because the truth is: insight doesn’t create change...willingness does. We’ll explore how shifts in thinking drive emotional readiness, why we over-coach when willingness is low, and how to generate real momentum without pushing, fixing, or rescuing. If you’ve ever thought, “They get it… so why aren’t they doing it?”, this is the missing link.
