
The ICF Code of Ethics has evolved to reflect the changing landscape of coaching and its role in a complex world. In this timely and thought-provoking session, renowned leadership specialist and ICF MCC Lola Chetti will guide us through the transition from the 2020 Code of Ethics to the newly released 2025 version.
This program will explore the why behind the review process, highlight key updates, and help coaches reflect on the deeper role of ethics in their day-to-day practice. As coaches, our ethical foundation supports trust, safety, and professionalism, this session ensures we continue to uphold those values as the field grows and evolves.

Lola is a leadership specialist and organisational coach based in New York City. She
has been working globally for 16 years and is affiliated as adjunct coach with
business schools in Europe. She has over 3500 hours of coaching experience. She
holds a Master in Consulting and Coaching for Change (Distinction) from INSEAD and
runs an established practice in leadership development/ change management
training and coaching, working with clients from multinationals and local
companies.
She designed and currently delivers a Level 2 accredited coach training curriculum
completely based on scenario practice designed by her to individuals and
organizations in Asia, Europe. Lola integrates research from neuroscience, narrative
coaching, cultural intelligence and psychodynamics in her coaching and training
work. She is also a trained ICF level 2 -assessor.
Holding Space Coaching & Consulting currently delivers services ranging from
executive coaching, design and delivery of customized leadership development
training aimed at developing coaching cultures in organisations.
Lola Chetti started her career in the judiciary and retired as a senior Magistrate after
10 years . Her passion for people development and learning led her to transition as a
volunteer teacher with refugee children for 6 years; before she started a second
career in leadership development consulting and executive coaching in 2009.
Lola works with individuals and organisations from Europe, Asia and the U.S.
Lola is the INSEAD Alumni Coach in Hong Kong and co-wrote the INSEAD global
career coaching alumni playbook in 2019. She is also one of the contributors of the
kindle best seller “Becoming an ICF Credentialed Coach”
She Co-led the 2024 review of the code of ethics and the review of the ICE
statements. She is currently designing the ICF online ethical training
