The Intersection between Coaching and NeuroScience

The ICF QLD Branch End of Year event is set to celebrate the achievements of our coaching community in style and science via a panel discussion where we will explore the intersection between coaching and neuroscience led by neuroscience experts including: Linda Ray, Michelle Loch (MCC) and Angella Clarke-Jervoise (PCC) and moderated by Andy Johnson, (MCC)

Join us as we explore how neuroscience is reshaping the way we coach — and deepening our understanding of transformation, both in potential and in practice. The panel will unpack the science behind change, connection, and growth, offering fresh insights for coaches navigating today’s evolving landscape.

The panel discussion will be followed by a celebratory drinks, canapes and networking so make sure to lock the date and come along and let's learn and celebrate together.

As an expert in neuroleadership, and a Master Certified Coach with the ICF, Michelle is an exciting addition to our panel. Michelle’s signature coach certification program – Conversations of Substance – melds what we know and are continually learning about the human brain with the core competencies of coaching. She is a well-known Thought Leader, Speaker, Author, Trainer and Coach who is passionate about ‘helping humans be better at being human’. Her mission is to turn all leaders into coaches…and thus save the world from itself!

Angella Clarke-Jervoise, PCC

Angella is an executive and leadership coach and founder of Fresh Insight. She helps leaders and organisations navigate change with clarity and confidence, drawing on neuroscience and positive psychology to foster brain-friendly leadership cultures. Passionate about making complex brain science practical and accessible, Angella empowers leaders to optimise performance, wellbeing, and environments where people thrive.

Linda Ray

Linda Ray is the founder and Executive Director of NeuroCapability. Her mission is to change the world one brain at a time. With a career spanning over 25 years in applied organisational neuroscience, leadership development, executive and team coaching, Linda is widely recognised for her pivotal contributions to the advancement of knowledge in cultivating high-performing teams across the globe, including in Australia, Asia, the United Kingdom, Greece, Dubai, and New Zealand.

Panel Moderator: Andy Johnson, MCC

Andy is an ICF MCC credentialed coach, who has facilitated over 300 ICF Coach Training Programs and continues to contribute to the development of the coaching industry on a global scale. Andy's coaching practice began in London in the early 2000s, providing him with experience coaching at a senior level, across culturally diverse and complex environments. Andy is a faculty member with multiple ICF accredited coaching training organisations across Australia and Asia, an ICF MCC coach mentor and ICF coach supervisor.

We understand things change and there are times when plans made don’t work out.  If you need to cancel your ticket there will be a $30 administration fee charged. You are welcome to transfer or sell your ticket at no charge.

Please advise the event co-ordinator if you are no longer able to attend, wish to request a refund, have transferred or sold your ticket.

  • Under 48 hrs – no refunds given
  • Or if catering is included, no refunds up to a week prior to the event
