The ICF has recently announced changes to its training requirements and certifications for Mentor Coaches and Supervisors. It will be introducing a Mentor Coach qualification (MCQ) and a Coaching Supervision Qualification (CSQ)
These changes build on the introduction of its Supervision and Mentor Coaching Competency frameworks last year, and ICF's continued focus and emphasis on ensuring coaches can rely on the quality and standard of support they receive, in each of these areas, when investing their hard earned money towards credentialing and development.
It also supports the increasing demand for individual and group coach Supervision.
Jacqui Ferris, MCC, ACTC is the Charter Chapter of ICF Australia's Director of Coach Development.
She will take you through what we know so far and what to expect from ICF in the coming months on these topics.
This is important information if you are seeking Mentor Coaching for credential renewal or as you select coach education, which includes mentor coaching.
