For our Virtual Coach Connect in October 2026, Membership Engagement & Networking Lead Anelda Mail, PCC, will be facilitating an interactive conversation on The Power of Regulation
As coaches, we often talk about awareness, emotions, resilience, and performance—but beneath all of these is our ability to regulate ourselves.
What does regulating actually mean? Why does it matter? How do we recognise when we, or our clients, need to regulate before moving forward?
Join fellow coaches as we explore questions such as:
· What does regulation mean to you?
· How do you recognise when you're becoming dysregulated?
· What helps you regulate and why?
· What role does regulation play in effective coaching?
· How do we respond when a client needs to regulate rather than solve?
·
This won't be a presentation with all the answers. It will be an opportunity to learn from one another, share experiences, and deepen our understanding of one of the foundations of effective coaching.
Come prepared to contribute, reflect, and be curious.
About Virtual Coach Connect
We know New Zealand has a unique geography, with coaches serving communities across Aotearoa. Because of this, one of our highest priorities is creating opportunities for our coaching community to connect, learn from one another, and strengthen relationships across the country.
Each month we explore a different topic related to the art and practice of coaching through facilitated conversations designed to encourage reflection, discussion, and shared learning.
Come along to meet fellow coaches, reconnect with familiar faces, and help create the coaching community you want to be part of.
Please note: These events are not recorded, so there will be no replay available.
