AI Coaching: Market, Trends, Science & Use cases

Artificial Intelligence presented through the lens of a pioneer, researcher and technology provider

Who Is This Presentation For?

This presentation is designed for coaching professionals curious about — or concerned by — the rise of artificial intelligence in their field. The goal is to provide a grounded, evidence-based and field practitioner perspective that is relevant for coaches at all levels — whether adopters or sceptical.

Why This Presentation Matters:

AI coaching tools are already being adopted across organizations worldwide. Coaching professionals face a critical choice: engage with this transformation from a position of knowledge and leadership, or risk being bypassed by it. This is not a tech talk, it is a coaching-led, science-backed and practitioner exploration of what AI means for the coaching profession and for coaches.

Presentation Goals:
  1. Clarify the market reality: Provide an honest, data-informed picture of how AI coaching tools are entering the market, what organizations are doing with them, and what the landscape looks like for coaches today.
  2. Translate scientific research into practical insight: Share findings from peer-reviewed studies on what AI coaching can and cannot do, how it compares to human coaching, and what the evidence says about its impact on competence development and leadership.
  3. Address ethics head-on — Explore the ethical dimensions of AI coaching in relation to existing ICF standards, the EU AI Act, and the emerging ICF AI Coaching Standards.
  4. Illuminate concrete use cases — Show real, practical ways AI tools are being used by coaches and by coachees, grounded in field experience and research.
  5. Open genuine dialogue — Create space for coaches to voice concerns, questions, and reactions through an open Q&A.
What to expect?

Expect an interactive presentation with Q&A integrated on below topics:

  • Market shape
  • AI applications for coaches and coachees
  • Scientific research on AI Coaching
  • Ethics in place, tools to use, AI approaches to ethics
  • Client use cases

Followed by live demonstration and experimentation to create your AI agent (free) for your practice.
