Applying Ontological Coaching in Organizations

This is your opportunity for an introduction to Ontological Coaching, the key distinctions that underpin it as well as some hands-on experience and tools to take with you!

This event is for coaches, managers, team leaders and anyone who works and needs to communicate well with other people.

How well things get done in organisations depends on the quality of the conversations that are or are not occurring? says Wolfgang. Managerial work is done mainly through conversations!

He has discovered that you do really get control if you are courageous enough to give it up at the start of the process and he will be introducing you to a set of tools that will enable you to improve your own communication skills and those of your clients.

What you will learn:

  • That conversations are a core business process
  • A way of measuring Productivity in every workplace
  • How to expand your coaching tool kit by applying the distinctions learnt throughout the workshop

About Wolfgang Wicher

After completing his secondary education he began his working life in a Textile Mill where he was able to gain practical experience while studying and completing a Diploma of Textile Chemistry.

He also completed the certificate of Business Administration with the Australian Institute of Business.

For the last 25 years he has been Managing Director of Dyechem Industries a distributor of Textile Dyes and Chemicals.

As well as managing the Australian and New Zealand business he has worked extensively in China, Europe and SE Asia. His main task was to develop distributors and train their staff to meet the set standards and hence allow them to successfully represent the company in the different markets. As a business owner he has made the difficult change from working in his business to working on it.

During 2004 he commenced training for the next stage of his life and in December 2005 he completed the diploma of Ontological Coaching offered by the Newfield Institute.

His passion for developing and training people has always been a large part of his work but the distinctions that underpin Ontological coaching have given him the theoretical basis to support his long and varied experience.

He has found his training has a very wide application in Organizations with the growing acceptance that effective communication is a key driver of productivity.

He has had some excellent feedback in the following areas: Sales, Culture change, leadership and team developments. He believes a combination of working in groups augmented by some one on one coaching to be most effective for his clients and works towards this in his initial consultations.
