Calculating ROI – What is the VALUE of your Coaching?

For coaching to be credible in the business world it is ESSENTIAL that a simple and effective means of measurement be used…

Assessing the return on a coaching investment has consistently been difficult, however, significant progress has been made over the last year particularly as regards the development of measurement models. This presentation is designed to contribute to the body of coaching measurement knowledge by presenting the ROI/IOR model, its use and application.

Focus will be applied to the dynamic link that exists between Return on Investment (ROI) and Improvement of Relationships (IOR) and how this can be used to establish the actual outcomes of a coaching intervention by generating measurements of both the objective ROI (dollar value) and subjective IOR (quality of relationships). Furthermore, the dynamic ROI-IOR link provides a useful means of understanding a current reality and formulating goals and actions.

As the ROI/IOR model cannot exist within a vacuum or as an external stand alone entity, time will be spent demonstrating its application within the context of role reciprocity. As all relationships are dynamic and ever changing the reciprocal elements of roles must also change if relationships are to be maintained and developed. Relationships are both inherently ordered (predictable) and chaotic (unpredictable) at the same time. The ROI/IOR model provides a window from which to view, explain and influence the circular nature of relationships and business outcomes.

Program Objectives:

  • ROI/IOR measurement model of coaching effectiveness
  • The recursive (circular) link between the quality of relationships and business outcomes
  • How the ROI/IOR model can measure and improve Return on Investment through Improvement of relationships

Make this the last and most successful attempt at developing the body and health you desire – and maintain it forever.
