Renewal of ICF Memberships

Annual Dues Process

ICF is currently transitioning membership renewals to an annual dues process whereby all memberships are due for renewal on March 31st of each year - so your membership renewal fee this year will be a prorated amount based on the annual fee of $260.00 from your membership anniversary date through to March 31, 2007. So, for example, those members whose membership expires on April 30th 2006, will pay 11/12ths of an annual membership.

Membership in ICF is only available to individuals, non-transferable and non-refundable. Receipt of all applications will be acknowledged. A Tax-Invoice will be issued for all applications.

New Membership Categories

How will the new ICF Membership Categories affect me?

Members who are already credentialed by ICF (holding the ACC, PCC or MCC), will automatically be designated as Credentialed members as of April 1, 2006.

Beginning April 1, 2006, new members who join ICF will be placed in the Credentialed category if they hold an ICF credential. If they do not hold an ICF  credential they will become Affiliate members. Affiliate members will have  different rights and privileges of membership. The two most important  distinctions are that they are not voting members nor will they have the  ability to participate in the Coach Referral Service.

Members can stay in the Affiliate category as long as they like. They do not have to move to the Credentialed category if they don't wish to be credentialed. Coaches do not have to be credentialed to join ICF. For current members who are not credentialed, ICF has created the transition category of Member Coach. Members who are not credentialed by ICF as of March 31, 2006  will move to this transition category. This category allows current members  to retain all existing rights and privileges of ICF membership for one additional year. If the Member Coach becomes credentialed prior to March 31 2007, he/she will move into the Credentialed category. If the Member Coach does not become credentialed by March 31, 2007, he/she will move into the Affiliate category as the Member Coach category is only available until the  end of March 2007.

By April 1 2007, there will only be two ICF membership categories: Credentialed member and Affiliate member.

What happens if an ICF member does not renew on time during 2006-2007?

It is important for all members to renew before the last  day of the month in which their membership comes up for renewal. Non-credentialed coaches who allow their membership to lapse will not be  able to renew as a Member Coach. They will automatically be moved to the  Affiliate Category.

Renewal Process

Existing membership can be renewed online, by fax or by post. Please note that while we can accept your credit card details by phone if you prefer, we must receive a signed copy of the membership renewal form with your acceptance of the ICF Pledge of Ethics and ICF Standards of Conduct.

Paying by Cheque or Money Order

If you would like to pay by cheque or postal order, please download a form here (you will need a pdf reader) and return a completed and signed copy of the form with a cheque or money order made payable to "ICF Australasia Inc" to the ICF Australasian Admin Office.

A tax invoice/receipt will be forwarded to you by e-mail within 2 working days of receipt of your application.

Paying by Credit Card by fax/phone If you would like to pay by credit card by phone or fax, please download a form here (you will need a pdf reader) and return a completed and signed copy of the form by fax to: +61 2 4340 2122. If you wish, you may provide your credit card details by telephone, but please complete and fax a membership form through before you call.
