Building and sustaining a successful coaching business is one of the greatest challenges faced by coaches.

Coaches may be well trained and passionate about coaching, but unless they know how to attract and retain clients to build a profitable business they will falter. It is estimated that as few as 3% of coaches actually succeed.

This presentation will take coaches through some key steps to a building a better coaching business by someone who has actually done so, drawing upon his own experience and using Joe?s book, ?Absolute Leadership? as a case model.

These are some of the key steps.

  1. Creating a Unique Value Proposition (UVP) is essential to the success of any coach. A marketing maxim states that 'it is better to be different than it is to be better'. The difference must be something for which your clients are willing to pay.
  2. Branding at both a business and personal level is vital. While developing good relationships with clients is an important element of branding, there are other elements involved.
  3. Attract, win and retain profitable clients. As passionate as coaches are about coaching, clients are essential not only to practice coaching skills but also to building and maintaining a healthy business. Being pro-active and systematic is essential to gaining more business, while understanding value to the client can lead to more profitable clients.

What you will gain from this presentation:

  • Create a UVP that makes coaches different to other coaches, so they stand out from the crowd
  • Develop a coaching brand, both business and personal brand
  • Attract, win and retain more profitable clients
  • Develop and convey greater confidence in the services that coaches provide
