NSW Branch International Coaching Week Scholarship Initiative

Want to win $1,000 of Mentor Coaching?

ICF Australasia NSW Branch is delighted to announce that as an ICF International Coaching Week initiative, we are offering three Scholarships worth $1,000 each to facilitate credentialing at ACC, PCC or MCC levels in 2012. The $1,000 will be available as a subsidy towards the mentor coaching which is a requirement of portfolio applications for credentialing. Find out more about credentialing here: www.coachfederation.org/icfcredentials/videos/

We recognise that credentialing will enhance and preserve the integrity of the coaching industry by establishing a clear and verifiable standard of coach specific experience and training. Research also shows that ICF credentialed coaches earn up to 30% more in income than non-credentialed coaches.

Who's eligible to apply for a $1,000 scholarship?

Anyone who:

  • has completed 60 hours of coach specific training
  • is an Australian resident and a current member of ICF Australasia NSW Branch
  • intends to complete their ACC, PCC or MCC application by 31st Jan 2013
  • agrees for their entry submission be published and circulated to ICF members
  • agrees to attend an event in Feb 2013 to talk to attendees about 'Your Credentialing Journey'

It was agreed by the NSW Leadership Team that ICF Branch office bearers would not be eligible to apply. We also reserve the right to vary awards if circumstances demand.

How to enter for the chance to win the scholarship

  1. Supply a copy of your cv, up to two pages.
  2. Write up to 300 words on why you want to become a credentialed coach and how it will benefit you, your clients and your business.
  3. Write up to 300 words on how you think your coaching can help society flourish.
  4. Present a plan that indicates the resources and actions you intend to take to ensure you complete your ACC, PCC or MCC application by 31st Jan 2013. Identify any barriers and obstacles you foresee and how will you overcome them.

Submit your entry (in Microsoft word format) by email to president.nsw@icfaustralia.com by 4pm on 15th March 2012. Any enquiries should also be sent to this address.

We really look forward to receiving your submission and working with you to help you achieve your ICF credential.
